Italian type Sparrow still in East Budleigh

Met up with a couple of friends today who were keen to see the East Budleigh "Italian" Sparrow today and it performed well for them. Having been overseas for the last few weeks, it was interesting to see how the bill has blackened since my last sighting almost exactly a month ago.

A clear change in bill colour over the last month - The black bill is more a summer plumage feature as with House Sparrow
