Have been guiding in Brazil's Atlantic Rainforest for the last couple of weeks, hence the lack of recent blogging! Anyway, more on Brazil to come, but in the meantime I have been catching up with the beloved local patch. Have been kicking the local stubble fields for the last couple of days in the hope of Lapland Buntings, but drawn a blank so far. However, today, thanks to a call from Doug, I managed to add Barn Owl to the patch list - always been crying out for one, but not in recent years, so fingers crosssed it hangs around. The starling roost performed well with 1,000+ birds.
Birds and other wildlife at home in the UK and Overseas. Plus the odd pudding or cake!
