Finland - Good Vole Year!

These fantastic photos were taken by Jari Peltomaki, director of Finnature. The news from Finland is that the vole density in the Oulu Kuusamo region this year is much higher than last year. As a result, the local guides are poised for an excellent owl year! There have been some excellent owl sightings already with numerous Hawk Owls and a number of Great Grey Owls.
So if owls are your thing, then 2014 is the year to visit Finland!
