BIG news today was a Great-spotted Woodpecker and Blackcap visiting the garden feeders today and a male Bullfinch two gardens down from us.

At the patch highlights included, the Siberian Chiffchaff still present with its olive green collybita companion for good comparison and a very obliging Cetti's Warbler at the same pool. Grey Wagtail, Water Rail, 9 Brent Geese, 2 Mediteranean Gulls (1st winter and adult), Whimbrel, 3 Ringed Plover, 3 Dunlin, Kingfisher and the lone Eider on the sea and a Red-throated Diver flying east.
Away from the patch, the 3rd Med. Gull for the day was an adult in fields at Yettington.
