Friday 22nd April
A look on the patch this morning was fairly uneventful other than 3 Common Scoter on the sea. This evening was more interesting as the Bonaparte's Gull re-appeared, feeding on the estuary from 7pm until 8.10pm when it flew out to sea and headed west with 2 black-headed gulls. Also this evening, 15+ Manx Shearwaters (most heading west), an auk sp west, 27 Shelduck on the estuary and the lone drake Gadwall.
Really nice swallow shot, not an easy feat! Love your sidebar shots, how amazing to be able to travel other countries birding!
