Scrapes looking Good

Tuesday 21st August 2012
Not much excitement today, but the scrapes are looking good thanks to a bit of vegetation cutting around the edges of the water. The vegetation has been getting very dense and this was a much needed job - Thanks to Clinton Devon Estates with guidance from the one and only DC!
Six Dunlin on the scrape today were good to see as was a Green Sand flying around (2 later in the afternoon) and 8 Teal, 2 Wigeon on the estuary were the first of the Autumn and a Southern Hawker was patrolling the main path.

No it was just handheld as the weather was pretty cool and the beast did not really want to move from its perch.
