Spent the last couple of days looking for a Chough that was seen and photographed on the top fields just to the east of the Otter on Sunday, but had no joy - so far! A real gripper and totally unexpected, surely it must still be around the coastal fields somewhere? I have not birded the top fileds for a few weeks now, as I've been concentrating on the estuary for gulls - that will teach me!!
Anyway, it has been nice to finally have some sunshine and just enjoy being out without being buffeted by wind and rain! Highlight today was an adult Little Gull on flooded fields north of White Bridge found earlier to the south by local birder Peter.
