Cuckoo and Wheatears

Just returned from Northern Spain after a successful Wildcats, Wolves & Wallcreepers trip, but more on that later! I was eager to get back to the patch after hearing about good numbers of common migrants, but sadly still little time to do it justice. However, a juvenile Common Cuckoo this morning was the first I have seen on the patch, so I was more than happy! A few Wheatears on the coast path yesterday evening ready to head south.
