West Penwith 19 - 26 Sep 2020

I recently spent a very enjoyable week birding with good mates Russ and Andy.
We stayed in a caravan and spent most days clocking up the miles as we walked around the stunning West Penwith coastline. Highlights included finding our own Yellow-browed Warbler on the 20 Sep (early for the SW) and a welcome Wryneck on the 22 Sep, as well as stumbling across Lapland Bunting, Red Kite and the long staying Black Kite. Also great to see good numbers of common migrants during the first couple of days. All in all, a great week away and good to catch up and have some laughs with old friends in what has been a very strange year for us all.
