A quick trip down to Cornwall to see Dinger and Walls gave time to check out Carbis Bay produced 6 Great Northern Divers, 1 Red-throated Diver and what was probably the Pacific Diver based mostly on jizz and some plumage but unfortunately it was just a bit too distant to see the finer plumage details required. Also in the bay were good numbers of Razorbills, a few Guillemots and excellent views of 4 Balearic Shearwaters feeding with the 100+ Kittiwake and 20+ Gannet. A 2nd winter Med Gull and a Pale-bellied Brent Goose were also on Carnsew Pool.
