Ring Ouzel

Took advantage of the sunny (finally) weather this morning and visited the Devon Wildlife Trust Reserve at Bystock Pool where the fine male Ring Ouzel performed brilliantly, happily feeding in the meadow. It was far from shy and seemed quite intrigued by the shutter noise on my camera, coming closer towards me! A quick visit to the Otter Scrapes produced just 2 Little Ringed Plovers, the lone Lapwing and a scrape first, an adult Sandwich Tern!
