The last few days have seen the year list slowly creep up since New Year's Day. Highlights included a nice selection with Spoonbill (Mudbank Lane 5th Jan), Dartford Warbler, Brambling (5 birds Hayes Lane 5th Jan), 4 Egyptian Geese (LORP 4th Jan) and a surprise Lesser Redpoll on the patch today. Also seen today were three beautiful Roe Deer feeding around the recently removed Blackthorn hedge; two females and a young Stag.
