Managed to slip out to the patch this afternoon. No sign of the Bittern in a short search, but other highlights were 3 Shoveler, 2 Gadwall, 1 Kingfisher, 3 Cetti's Warbler, 15 Brent Geese (including 2 juvs), a flock of 320+ Wigeon on the sea and a RT Diver flying east.
