The Bittern showed briefly this morning after a quick circuit round the patch followed by an absolutely fantastic Apple Turnover from the Lawn Bakery - a true contender for the Maple and Pecan Nut Slice! Thanks to a phone call from Doug this afternoon, the Bittern performed well from the Public footpath north of White Bridge. Also seen today:
