Iceland Gull at last!

Monday 12th March 2012
Finally I get to see an Iceland Gull on the beloved patch! A welcome phone call in the late afternon from Doug alereted me that DJ had found a white-winged gull on the Otter, so I managed to slip down there in the early evening. Presumed 1st winter, albeit the bird appears to have a tiny pale tip to bill and even more subtle paler iris.

  1. Despite the big numbers, there have been virtually none in Norfolk! I'm hoping a few more will be moving through.. Send it this way! Nice one

  2. Patience my friends - All good things come to those who wait. Or something like that anyway!
