Garden Ticks like Buses!

Monday 16th September
This morning I was working on the laptop with my usual one eye on the garden! A movement in the Blackberry bush got me grabbing my bins and bingo Spotted Flycatccher - patch tick number one. I grabbed my camera and dashed outside and literally after five minutes of waiting for it to re-appear (which it did eventually) I heard a Tree Pipit call twice and then saw it flying over the back of the garden - patch tick number 2.
Total now 69 Species. Happy Days!

Sadly, I failed to get a decent shot of the Spot Fly so instead, below is one of the Wheatears I had around the Top Fields on a late afternoon walk today.
Wheatear - 6+
Whinchat - 1
Stonechat - 1
