Russky was on the patch again today and this morning was fairly successful with 1Red-throated Diver, 10 Common Scoter, 1 Great-crested Grebe and 1 Gadwall on the sea. 1 Whimbrel, 1 Black-tailed Godwit, 15 Curlew and 11 Lapwing on the scrapes beside The Otter plus 1 Water Pipit on the Cricket Pitch. The Lawn bakery came up trumps with a warm Sausage Roll and a Steak and Kidney Pie!
A late afternoon visit to Bowling Green Marsh and Topsham produced the long staying SPOTTED SANDPIPER, 3 drake Pintail and 1 Grey Plover.
