Feeling Autumnal

Popped out to the patch this evening with the Mrs and despite the balmy temperatures, there was a distinct autumnal feel to the evening. This was highlighted by the roosting of at least 400 Swallows in the Otter reedbed consisting of many family groups and then a Common Sandpiper calling along the seafront at dusk.
