The last few days have seen unprecedented numbers of Little Ringed Plovers arriving into Devon, with counts of 8 at Exminster/Powderham Marshes, 7 at Thurlestone Marsh and an incredible 20 birds (Devon Record) at nearby Colyford Marsh, Seaton.
Therefore, I was happy with my 3 birds on the Otter Scrapes this morning, a good count anywhere in Devon! Also today, 1 BT Godwit, 1 Dunlin, 1 Peregrine, 4 Wheatears and numerous Chiffchaffs.
